For students who wanna  study abroad to Singapore, the cost of studying abroad is high , so it is quite normal for them to think about  saving money and start a new business. Here are  few introduction of the source of the good way to save money.

Apply for world student ID and part-time job

The world student identity card (ISIC card) is a student identification document recognized by UNESCO, which provides preferential services in transportation, accommodation, food, entertainment, etc. Full-time students aged 12 or above may apply.

Full-time students from the national university of Singapore and the polytechnic university can apply to the university for a part-time job and, with their consent, can legally work in Singapore.

However, it should be noted that students from Singapore cannot work more than 16 hours per week as required by the government, or they will face expulsion and repatriation. Foreign students who work outside the home during the holidays do not have to apply to the university, and their working hours are not limited. But private university students are not allowed to work.

  Apply for Scholarship

For students who want to study in Singapore, studying abroad is a big expense, so it is quite normal for them to save money and start a new business.

The first two types of scholarships are "Singapore enterprise scholarship" and "Singapore government scholarship". Enterprise scholarship is a full scholarship provided by the ministry of education of Singapore to students of domestic cooperative campuses. Students can get all the expenses including tuition, living expenses and travel expenses.

Government scholarship is part of the free scholarship provided by the new government for Chinese students studying abroad. If you apply for a government scholarship, you can exemption of 65% to 80% of the tuition fee. The university of Singapore also offers scholarships, such as scholarships for students who are good enough to cover the cost of living.

The SM Senior Middle scholarship program is the most frequently requested by our students. At present, SM scholarships are mainly divided into four categories: SM1, SM2, SM2.5 and SM3.

Scholarships are also offered at Singapore's private universities and world institutions. For example, the Singapore institute of development has launched a scholarship scheme that requires successful applicants of MDIS courses to give out  $1,000 to $1,500.

Students at Singapore's five public polytechnics and five national universities will receive state grants. However, students who receive financial aid are required to work in Singapore for three years upon completion of their studies or are required to return the grant.
